First Year College work

Second Year College work

Drawing of college class friend as a base for development work, just graphite pencil on A3 paper.

Development work: Scanned image of previous drawing onto A4 card, layered over black card, cardboard flowers, real plants, cardboard leaves and acrylic paint.

Experiment with dry point printing. Printed onto a book page, white cartridge paper with red and black printing ink and added additional detail with acrylic paint. Flower cut from wallpaper layered into the two prints and a background added with black acrylic paint. This image is on A3 paper

A3 white cartridge paper, green&black acrylic paint, real plants and leaves, graphite pencils, cut out gold card.

A3 cartridge paper, self taken photograph of class friend as base image added to with black biro and shaded with graphite pencil. Wallpaper flowers, dry point prints of flowers on cardboard, book paper and pink fabric. Collar is made of wallpaper leaves and drawn leaves with blue and black biro, also the dripping effect has been done with watered down handwriting pen, white acrylic paint and blue biro. Blackground has been tea stained but added to with brown and white acrylic paint.

Example of book work and notes, experiment for collage work. Developed image of tattoo bird done with acrylic paint with sections cut out and backed with wallpaper. Defined lines with black biro and a finishing touch of a small jewel for the eye.

Materials used: Face drawn onto cardboard with pencil, acrylic paint for coat, teared up cardboard images layered for the shirt, wallpaper and plastic used on coat and also wax has been added to the bottom.
